Hello, hello, hello..

Dear Death & Tragedy,
How soft you made me
Your touch left my soul a furrowed field,
A tree of a thousand strange buds grows here
Each passing day a new flower erupts
Petals of pain, and nectar of tears:
The pollinating bees are drunk on my fears
Of losing what was already lost, lost still
My weary mind clutches at the wind
Dear Death & Tragedy,
When will you visit me again?

In the stillness of night

Home is never far from your heart,
But the last thing on your mind.
You keep your body moving constantly,
Busy hands to quiet the thoughts

They creep up when you least expect
An army of many little feelings
Threatening to overrun your defences
The gates to a flood of reminiscence, broken.

It spills out of your eyes, down your face
A waterfalls of a lifetime of angst.
A seventh wonder of the pilgrim’s nature
A way of life that is impermanence of person and place.
